VIDEO: Coloring on Colored Cardstock with MFT Stamps

Hi friends ! Today I am adding color to my die cuts using my copics.

I have this tutorial in an exclusive video over on the MFT Stamps Youtube channel that you can view down below or HERE on their channel.

I’m using the Beehive and Hanging Branch die from MFT. I die cut the bee hie from Lemon Chiffon cardstock and colored with copic markers. I forget how quickly and forgiving coloring on colored cardstock is.

For my background, I’m (once again) using the Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil. I will never tire of using this stencil. It’s so versatile!

I ink blended the stencil with Wild Honey and Antique Linen Distress Oxides inks for a fun honey colored background.

I’m also using the Love Ya word die and some adorable bees from the Honey Bees stamp set.

While you could use this for a Valentine’s Day card, it could also be used at anytime throughout the year!

  1. Cute card, Mindy. I would have had a really hard time not using a sentiment with a “bee” pun, but kudos to you for taking the high road! Your card is pretty and sweet.
