I’m so excited to be joining in the celebration of Altenew’s 7th Anniversary Blog Hop! I have quite a soft spot for their products and thrilled to be sharing inspiration with you today!
This blog hop is filled with inspiration and giveaways. All information will be provided down below.
Today I’m playing with the Book Cover Engravings embossing folder. I’ve been really wanting to try out a technique using the embossing folders that I saw Jennifer McGuire do.

After ink blending a variety of blues onto a piece of card stock, I used the Book Cover Engravings embossing folder and ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cut machine. Then, using a sanding block, I sanded away the embossing area to reveal the white of the cardstock.
Such a beautiful look!
I kept the rest of the card clean and simple by adding the For You sentiment die cut from Silver Glitter cardstock.

Have you tried embossing folders yet? So much fun!
