VIDEO: Alcohol Lift Ink + Gina K Designs Release

Welcome back everyone! It’s time for the new release from Gina K Designs and I have a video to share with you featuring he new release and Alcohol Lift Ink.

Get double duty from your stamps by using them in your backgrounds! Today, I’m creating a ton of alcohol ink backgrounds and “lifting” the ink off with the image for a very soft look using the Alcohol Lift Ink.

You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

First, let’s get some shopping out of the way so you don’t miss out on anything!

This is the Forever Flowers Card kit that I’ll be using in my cards today. These kits are always filled to the gills with product and sell out quickly.

The incentive stamp this month is the Watt’s Up stamp set and I just love these sayings! You can earn this stamp set for FREE with a purchase of $75 or more from Gina K Designs website.

Next, Gina is release this tool caddy that fits perfectly inside the blending brush storage unit.

NOTE: tools are sold separately but gives you an idea how to use it.

Also available is a glue tube holder but this one is specially designed! This one will hold the cap of your Connect glue inside so all you need to do is twist.

Now onto the cards ! I have a lot to share with you and they are all explained in detail in the video so I will be just linking the products here.

For all of my cards I am using the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink, Alcohol Lift Ink and Yupo paper. Full supply list will be listed at the end of the blog post.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the exact colors I used for each card but I am going to list you some of my favorites that I know I used throughout the video. Colors include: Fiesta, Flamingo, Dandelion, Laguna, Mermaid, Pool, Patina, Vineyard, Amethyst, Pebble, Pitch Black, Alloy Gilded, and Limeade.

  1. Girl, seriously, you rocked those alcohol inks! You and my friend, Deb, can do magic with those inks. Marisela? Not so much. I can make a mess and stain my hands really well. haha haha Stunning and gorgeous cards, Mindy!

  2. It was mesmerizing to watch you create the alcohol ink backgrounds. I love using the metallic ones but that was a good tip about the lift-ink now working as well on those. I haven’t had success with the lift ink but now I’m ready to give it a go again. I do have to tease you about your horticultural knowledge. Not dandelions, daffodils. Hey, you got the the first few letters down. You can’t be good at everything anyways. Loved those moody panels with a big sentiment. Gorgeous work. I loved seeing all the cards in your video.
