Happy Bee-Day with Hero Arts

Welcome everyone! I have a card to share today using products from Hero Arts. I’m really loving hexagons this month!

On Dove White card stock I heat embossed the Bees & Flowers background with clear embossing powder.

Then I ink blended Bubblegum, Apricot and Dandelion inks using a blending brush.

I wiped away the excess ink from my panel and die cut several pieces from the background using the Hexagon Infinity die.

On a piece of Dove White card stock measuring 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″, I added the hexagon pieces using a tape runner.

I think I like the hexagons because it’s such a unique shape and one I don’t use very often. It’s refreshing for me!

I heat embossed a sentiment from the Bees & Flowers Wreath stamp set using white embossing powder onto Black card stock. Then trimmed the sentiment out with the Hexagon Infinity die and added to the front of my card with foam squares.

I also added a little bee from the same stamp set as well.

Fun, Springy colors and a birthday card to boot!

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!

  1. Like a breath of spring. I am using hearts a lot and fitting them together in all different sizes and directions here before Valentine’s. Then I will turn my attention to hexagons.
    Have a great day!
