Spellbinders January 2021 Club Kits Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome everyone! I’m excited to be joining Spellbinders in a blog hop this month sharing inspiration using their club kits. My card today will feature the Glimmer Hot Foil Club Kit and Small Die of the Month Club Kit.

I think one of the most amazing things to me with the Glimmer Hot Foils, other than them being exceptionally beautiful, is that you can ink blend over foil!

I used gold foil on white card stock using the heart from the Glimmer Hot Foil Club Kit. Then I ink blended Passionate Pink and Innocent Pink inks from Gina K Designs using blending brushes.

I also foiled a sentiment using gold foil onto black card stock. Gold on black is always so striking to me.

The background piece is from the Small Die of the Month Club Kit in which I die cut from Gold Metallic card stock.

I wanted to keep the card soft and simple so I added my foiled and die cut pieces to Fog card stock and then attached to a white card base.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! The love working with the Glimmer Kits and they are very reasonably priced.

To celebrate this release, we are giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on our blog. Giveaway closes on Sunday, January 17th, 11:59 pm MST. The winner will be announced in this blog hop post the following Tuesday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

If you are coming from Hussena Calcuttawala blog you are in the right spot.

Your next stop in the hop is Virginia Lu.

Very pretty and .I too love the look of black and gold, always feels fancy! I’ve not tried the foiling yet, but it sure adds that professional touch to the cards!
