Abstract Honeycomb with Hero Arts

Welcome back everyone and thank you for stopping by today. I have some inspiration to share using one of my favorite new backgrounds, Abstract Honeycomb, from Hero Arts. I love the mix of hexagons and hearts on this one.

I stamped the background onto Cherry card stock with embossing ink. Then added Sparkle embossing powder and heat set.

I ink blended from the top working my way down with Mulled Wine and Cup O Joe inks using a blending tool from Altenew.

Lining up two of the Hexagon infinity dies and holding together with low-tack tape, I die cut a frame from gold foil card stock. I also die cut a base from Vellum and adhered the gold frame to it using liquid glue.

I used a sentiment from the Bees and Flowers Wreath stamp set and heat embossed onto Black card stock with Gold embossing powder. Then die cut the sentiment out with the Hexagon Infinity die.

I popped this sentiment up from the front of the card using black foam squares.

I also added some sequins around my sentiment and attached with liquid glue. To pull in a bit more gold, I added drops of Midas Touch from Gina K Designs to the center of my sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
