Gina K Designs June Release IG Hop

Welcome everyone! We are celebrating the June 2020 Release from Gina K Designs with an Instagram hop! I have a couple cards to share using a new technique that I wanted to share.

To be eligible for the Instagram giveaway, be sure to head over to my Instagram account and find out how to enter.

My technique today includes using Kraft cardstock and white pigmentt ink.

I start by ink blending Tranquil Teal from Gina K Designs onto Kraft cardstock using a Life Changing Blender Brush.

I stamp the image from Graceful Greenery onto my ink blended panel using a Misti tool and White Pigment ink.

For starters, it’s crazy to me how the Tranquil Teal changes color on Kraft. Looks amazing! Next, I love how the White pigment ink kind of takes on the color of ink behind it. It leaves such a beautiful soft look.

I finish this card off by adding a sentiment from the Natural Silhouettes stamp and adhering a few of the Clear Quartz Solid Sequins with connect glue.

My next card is using the same technique but with a solid image from the Natural Silhouettes stamp set. This time I ink blended the Kraft cardstock with Passionate Pink ink using a Life Changing Blender Brush.

The sentiment is from the Free To Flourish stamp set which I adhered to the card with foam squares for dimension.

This is such a beautiful technique and really easy to do. You could really mass produce cards like this. One word of caution is be sure to give the White ink time to dry. It is a pigment ink which is thicker and takes a little longer to dry.
