Hi Everyone! I’m here today to share some inspiration with you using the April Sampler pack from SCT Magazine! I’ll admit, this is my first time using the Sampler Kit and my first impression is … WOW! I normally don’t use pattern paper in my cards but I absolutely fell in love with the paper in this month’s pack. The floral designs are gorgeous and these gnomes make me smile from ear to ear.
I challenged myself to only use what I had in the Sampler Pack. You can definitely use any additional products you have on hand which would really extend th amount of cards you could make.
First I’m working with these gnomes. For my first card, I fussy cut out the gnome so I could pop him up with foam squares to add a little dimension.
In the Sampler Pack is a sheet of these labels printed on black sticker paper. I adhered them to white cardstock and trimmed out so there was a little more stability to them. I used them a lot throughout my cards. Seriously how cute is this gnome?
The papers in the Sampler Pack are also double sided so there are lots of options to choose from.
My next card couldn’t get any easier. I just trimmed down pattern paper and adhered to a card front.
Still madly in love with the gnome paper, I used this sheet for my whole background. Once again, I used the sentiment stickers for my card.
Also included in the Sampler Packs are bits of ephemera. I used one of the pieces on a white card front for a very clean and simple card.
My last card to share uses some of the gorgeous floral paper in the pack. I couldn’t bring myself to cut the paper a lot so I just trimmed it down to use as a background. I added a gold puffy word sicker to the front to finish it off.
Look at the dimension and shine!
Hopefully this has inspired you to check out the Sampler Packs. They are really a great value with a boat load of product included. While I stuck to just using the kit, you could extend the possibilities by using products you have in your stash.
