CARD DETAILS
My first card is going to be featuring the YOU WARM MY HEART stamp set. I am seriously in love with these trees!
I decided to try my hand at a watercolor background. I used Hero Arts liquid watercolors and Acrylic Ink to create a wintery scene. Once the panel was dry, I splattered white ink on it for the look of snow.
I trimmed the panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped the trees in OBSIDIAN Black Ink.
Using my MISTI tool, I lined the WINTER WISHES sentiment on my card front and stamped in EMBOSSING INK. I heat embossed SILVER embossing powder and once cool, I repeated this step. Heat embossing it twice adds a little dimension and helps it stand out a little more against my background.
I finished off the card by lining with foam tape and mounting to a white A2 size card base.
My next card features the new YOU BEING YOU stamp set. I started by stamping the outline floral image onto Bristol Smooth card stock with embossing ink. Then heat embossed GOLD embossing powder.
I watercolored my image with Zig Real Brush markers and once completely dry, I die cut the image out.
For the background, I ink blended the SNOWFLAKE MANDALA STENCIL onto KEY LIME card stock with KEY LIME Ink and a Life Changing Blender Brush. I trimmed the panel down to 4 1/4″ x 4″ and added to a white card base. I then added a 1/4″ strip of black card stock.
I finished off by stamping a sentiment from the WINTER HUGS stamp set in Obsidian ink and adde my image to the card with foam squares.
