Welcome everyone! Today is my last day guest designing for Concord & 9th. It has been absolutely amazing working with them this past month. I hope you’ve enjoyed all the creations and videos I was able to bring you featuring their January 2019 release. I’m featuring today the Mini Spirograph Turnabout.
When I was experimenting with different colors using the Mini Spirograph, I saw a flower. So I created a little scene for my flower. I stamped my Mini Spirograph is Innocent Pink, Bubblegum Pink, Dusty Rose and Passionate Pink inks from Gina K Designs.
Next, I ink blended Mermaid Lagoon from the top of the card, getting lighter as I got towards the Spirograph. From the bottom, I ink blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. Using a T-Square ruler and fine tip black sharpie, I drew in a small line for a stem.
I die cut a small circle out of Gold Glitter Card stock and added to the center with foam squares. The sentiment is also from the Mini Spirograph stamp set. I stamped in Embossing ink onto Black card stock, covered in white embossing powder and the heat set. I trimmed the black card stock down to a thin strip and trimmed the edges to make a banner.
For my next example, I decided to leave a lot of white space. I stamped the Mini Spirograph design on the side of my white card stock. I stamped in Embossing Ink and used Gold Embossing Powder. Then heat set.
I lightly ink blended Seedless Preserve, Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks. I started with the darkest of those colors in the middle of the flower and worked my out with the lightest. The sentiment is stamped on Black card stock and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the cards I created using this set. It’s a great small set and so affordable!
