Welcome back to my blog everyone! It is time for Fun Friday Challenge with Your Next Stamp and I’m excited to be back guesting with them this month. They have some of the cutest critter images.
The theme for this week’s challenge is Let’s See Smiles. This should be real easy for you as there are smiles are almost every stamp! So dig out your stamps and join the fun! Also, be sure to head over to the YNS blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice. You have until January 16 at midnight to leave your comment and winners will be announced on their blog on January 18, 2019.
CARD DETAILS
My card today is featuring the Purrr-fect Friends stamp set and coordinating die. How cute are these little guys?! This is a smaller stamp set so a great price point. I stamped image onto Neenah White Cardstock 80 lb with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink. Then colored with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die.
For the background, I’m starting with a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then cut a piece of masking paper that same size. I die cut a heart using Nested Hearts die from the masking paper and attached to the Bristol cardstock. Next, I ink blended Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed Distress Oxides inks.
Once I was satisfied with the blend, I removed the masking paper and stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the card. I added the cute critters with foam squares and embellished with a few enamel dots from The Perfect Blend Gumdrops collection. This panel is added to an A2 size notecard with foam tape.
Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the theme Let’s See Smiles and link up on the Your Next Stamp Blog Challenge Post for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store. Challenge is open through January 24 at midnight.
