I am so thrilled to be able to share with you one of the new dies from the Sending Sunshine release from Simon Says Stamp! The Flower Cluster Die is so gorgeous and very versatile as you will see in some of my projects below.
My first card I’m going to share with you was a bit of an experiment for me. I really wanted to incorporate copic coloring in with this die and I figured out a way!
I start out by dry embossing my die into some white cardstock using my Spellbinders Platinum die cutting machine. Then I will also die cut two of these flower clusters from black cardstock.
Next, I’m going to color in that embossed area with my copic markers. I did a quick practice one so I could reference where the petals and leaves are. It’s ok if the colors go onto the embossed line because it will get covered with the black die cut piece.
Using a spray adhesive, I layered my die cut flower clusters over the copic colored flowers and hold down with some acrylic blocks for a bit. I also die cut the word Thanks from black card three times and layered on top of some Orchid glitter cardstock.
My sentiment is stamped onto black cardstock as well with Simon Says Stamp Clear ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I added craft foam behind my copic colored panel and adhered to a white A2 size notecard using Scor-tape. For some added interest, I adhered some sparkling confetti mix around my sentiment. I’m in love with how well this came out! Another great way to get more use out of our dies.

I have a few more examples to share with you!
For this card, I ink blended Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilic onto a piece of Neenah white cardstock and then die cut a Wonky Stitched Rectangle around the edge. I added this to a white A2 size notecard with fun foam using Scor-tape.
I die cut the Flower Clusters three times from white cardstock and adhered to the front of the card with spray adhesive. I used the Big Thanks die and cut from Black and white cardstock.
I couldn’t resist using the Flickering Butterflies die and Orchid Glitter cardstock and adding to my card.
My next example, I ink blended Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Lucky Clover, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink onto Neenah cardstock. Then die cut my Flower Cluster die from my ink blended panel.
Once again, I used the Wonky Rectangles to create a panel with the stitched edges and stamped this sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set.
Then I could add my flower cluster and some more flickering butterflies.
