Blog Hop Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Woohoo! It’s here! It’s here!!

Today we are celebrating the

amazing release of ALL of our

ALL FOUR new sets are NOW available
in the Krafty Shop!

So let’s have a big happy hop around the design team blogs and check them all out in action! Grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while you hop around and enjoy all the amazing creations!!

For today’s card I’m using the other image on the What’s Up Dude stamp set. I stamped my image onto Neenah white cardstock and then cut a mask for him. Yes I cute a mask lol .

Before doing any coloring, I created my background. I started off by hand-drawing in my skater rink with the assistance of a t-square ruler. I used a pencil to start and then once I was happy with it I drew over the pencils like with a black pen safe for copic coloring. I created a mask for my skater rink and added the clouds with a mini cloud stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink.

The hills are also from a stencil of which I laid down on my paper and traced in with my lightest green copic marker that I would be using. I removed the stencil and colored in with my green combo. The skater rink is also colored with copics. Once I had the background done, I removed the mask from my skater dude and colored him in. I finished off the card by adding a sentiment. For the most part this is a one layer card but I trimmed it done to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to an A2 size cardbase.

This is exactly what I was picturing in my head for this stamp set and I’m so happy with how it came out!
