We have a theme for this month’s stamp sets and it’s a category that every stamper must have in their stash!
We’re celebrating BIRTHDAYS! Today we have a totally SASSY new set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!!
It’s called KICK ASSY BIRTHDAY!!!
I’m so in love with how this card turned out. I’m starting off with some Bristol Smooth cardstock and starting at the top I work my way down ink blending Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Lucky Clover and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxides.
Next I cut this fabulous star panel using the Star Panel Die, This gives me a panel measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ which I then attach on top of my ink blended background. I stamp this fun sentiment from the Kick Assy Birthday Stamp set from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps to the middle section of the card.
To finish off the card, I’m adding some craft foam to the back of the star panel and adding to a top folding A2 sized cardbase.
I also have a video creating a very similar card except I added Glitter Spray to my ink blended background to make my stars sparkly!
