Welcome back everyone! I have a simple garden scene card to share today using stamps and dies from C.C. Designs February release. I’ll have all the supplies listed down below and a video where you can see my copic coloring and process.
I start with my images. I’m using the carrot from the Easter Town stamp set and bunny from the Easter Cuties Stamp set. I stamp both onto Neenah white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color with copic markers. I’ll be using the coordinating dies to cut them out with my Big Shot (dies purchased separately).
I use some post it note tape to hold my dies in place while I run them through my machine. While my Big Shot is out, I use the Cloudy Days and Waves die and cut from Kraft cardstock. My thought in this was to create some dirt for my carrot house. I will then ink blend a little Gathered Twig Distress Oxide ink. I’m not really worried about how splotching it looks because its dirt and I wanted a realistic look to it.
Next, I use a small panel of white cardstock to stencil on some clouds using the Cloud Stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide and trim this piece down. I will also trim down my dirt die cut to fit my cloud panel. For my sentiment, I stamped the sentiment Happy Easter from the Easter Cuties stamp set with some Tomato Soup Ink and cut around it with the Banner Die.
You can view the process in the video down below or HERE on my youtube channel.
