Hi Everyone! This post takes on a different project then you are used to seeing from me. I’m slowly getting back into scrapbooking except I’m dabbling with hybrid scrapbooking. As I stated in a post in the beginning of the month, I am WAY behind in my books. I discovered that I haven’t done an actual album in 10 years! That is a lot to catch up on and I don’t want to be working on baby pictures when my kids are graduating so ….. I’m doing a project life style of album. It has really helped me catch up.
So far, I have all my pictures printed and in photo sleeves in my album for 2017. I got a Selphy printer for Christmas which allows me to pick and choose which pictures I want and print them right then and there from the comfort of home. My problem was I would get pictures printed from an online place but then I’d have to organize them by date and honestly I dreaded it. Printing from home has really helped.
Anywho, I discovered the world of Ali Edwards. I’m addicted. She introduced me to hybrid scrapbooking. You can read about it on her website which I will link HERE. What I worked on today was a layout from 2017 where we took a trip to the new park downtown. I am signed up for her Story Kit subscription and that is what I used for this layout. I love these products! The journal cards are so nice and thick. The embellishments are amazing!
I apologize the pictures are not the best in the world. I’m not used to photographing layouts so it will take me some time to get a good feel for it and adjust my settings.
I hope this has inspired you! I’m really new to this world of pocket scrapbooking but I’m already on a good start of getting things accomplished.
