Cards Christmas Pink Fresh Studio Stencils

Pinkfresh Studio “Season Of Wonder” Release Blog Hop

A collection of handmade holiday cards featuring festive designs with bows, wreaths, and cheerful messages, accompanied by crafting supplies like brushes and stamps.

Hello friends! I’m so excited to be joining Pinkfresh Studio for their Season of Wonder Release Blog Hop! This beautiful release is all about Christmas, and it is filled with gorgeous new stamps, stencils, BetterPress plates, cover plates, and so much more.

Be sure to stick around because we also have a giveaway happening as part of the blog hop!

My project today features the beautiful Merry Mistletoe Stencil and coordinating die. While I normally find myself reaching for more traditional colors when creating Christmas cards, I decided to switch things up for this project and work with a combination of pinks and teals.

I love how simply changing the color palette can give a traditional Christmas image a completely different personality while still keeping that festive feel.

A decorative greeting card featuring a pink bow, greenery, and the phrase 'Let your heart be merry' on a soft green background.

I started by stenciling the bow using Sparkling Rose and Bubblegum inks. The two shades of pink give the bow some beautiful variation while keeping everything soft and cheerful.

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stenciled the mistletoe using Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine inks. For the berries, I brought the pinks back into the design with Cherry Blossom, Peony, and Begonia inks. I used a mix of Pinkfresh Studio blending brushes throughout the stenciling to build up the different colors and add depth to the images.

Once all of my ink blending was complete, I used the coordinating dies to cut out both the mistletoe and bow.

A festive greeting card featuring a decorative bow, greenery, and pink accents with the text 'Let your heart be merry'. The card is set against a soft green background with craft supplies nearby.

For the front of my card, I started with a Sea Glass card front. This was the perfect soft background for the brighter pinks and teals and helped keep the overall design feeling light and elegant.

I wanted to create a landing point for the mistletoe without covering up too much of that beautiful Sea Glass background, so I die cut white cardstock using the Double Stitched Elongated Oval. I popped the oval up onto the card front with foam tape, which adds just enough dimension to separate it from the background.

The mistletoe was attached to the oval with liquid glue, and then I added the bow over the top using thin foam tape.

A greeting card featuring a decorative design with a floral arrangement and pink ribbons. The text on the card reads 'Let your heart be merry.' The background is a soft green color.

One of my favorite details about this design is the shape of the bow. It has these beautiful long ends that cascade down along the sides of the mistletoe and really help draw your eye through the entire arrangement. Paired with the pink color palette, it makes such a pretty statement on the card.

To finish everything off, I added a sentiment from the Festive Flourish Stamp Set. The beautiful, scripty font has such an elegant look and was the perfect finishing touch. I stamped it in black ink so it would stand out against all of the softer colors in the background.

A decorative card design featuring a pink ribbon and green foliage with small pink berries. The text 'Let your heart be merry' is incorporated into the design.

I absolutely love how this card came together! The pinks and teals are a fun change from my usual Christmas colors, but the mistletoe and elegant sentiment still give it that wonderful holiday feel.

The entire Season of Wonder release is beautiful, and I have even more inspiration to share with you using some of these new products. Be sure to check out the full release to see all of the new stamps, stencils, BetterPress plates, cover plates, and coordinating products.
