Welcome back friends! The April 2024 My Monthly Hero Card Kit is now available for purchase! I have inspiration to share using the kit plus products from the April release.
First, let’s take a look at the kit. This is the Classic Kit for April 2024.

- 3 Color Layering Stencils
- Cover Plate Die
- 16 Coordinating Frame Cuts
- Clear Stamp Message Set
- 3 Reactive ink Cubes
Now let’s check out the Premium Kit

PREMIUM KIT – Includes everything from the Classic Kit PLUS
- Birds & Flowers Clear Stamp Set
- 13 Coordinating Dies
- 16 Washi Stickers
Now how about some inspiration! My countdown card was more moody and so this time I went full on rainbow.

The colors of ink I used are all Reactive Inks in the following colors;
I really wanted a small, skinny message so I dug out a past stamp set called Cosmos & Lavenders which also has a coordinating die for the sentiments. It was a perfect fit!

Now I have some inspiration using the April release starting with the Folk Art Stamp & Folk Art Stencil. Such an amazing design where you can have a lot of fun with color!

The background is splattered with Black ink and Iridescent Shimmer Spray. Then I used the Arch die to cut it out, add foam tape and adhere to a card front.
My sentiment comes from the Folk Animals Bundle.

Next is this beautiful Folk Art image of a fox off the Folk Animals Bundle.
Instead of bright colors, I went for a softer look by using my Olo Markers and adding just hints of shading to the image with a light gray.
I also used a sentiment from the Cosmos & Lavenders Bundle.
For the background, I used Peony cardstock and the Abstract Feather background stamp.

This card features the Folk Fox Fancy Die. I die cut it from white cardstock and saved both the negative and positive pieces.
I ink blended a panel of white cardstock using Pumpkin ink. Then, I added a piece of acetate to the back of the negative panel so I could adhere the positive piece down with liquid glue. I popped the panel up with foam tape and added over the top of the ink blended panel.
I decorated the front the card using dies from the Bird Family Fancy die and a sentiment from the Folk Animals Bundle.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
