Hi friends! So excited to be joining Altenew today in a blog hop celebrating their Marvelous Monthly Series.

I have inspiration to share using the Silk Art Craft Your Life Project Kit.

For my card, I used the embossing folder with white cardstock.

Then I used the coordinating stencil to add color to my image. The colors I used are Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Chamomile, Snapdragon and Firefly with a blending tool.

I die cut out the image with the coordinating die. Normally if you die cut after embossing, you lose the embossed detail but because Altenew embossing folders provide such fantastic detail, I didn’t lose a lot of it.

I lightly ink blended Pinkalicious, Chamomile and Snapdragon in the background and stamped a sentiment in black ink.

Then added flicks of gold with the metallic watercolors.

I finished it off by adding my floral to the front of the card with foam squares.
