VIDEO: Ombre Stamping with Solid Images

Hello friends! Popping by to share card inspiration and a video tutorial on how I did my ombre stamping using solid images and a mini blending tool.

You can watch the full tutorial down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I walk through my process in the video so below I will quickly discuss supplies used. Also in the video, I’m talking about how I clean the door of my stamping tool and why I love having both the large inks and mini ink cubes.

Ombre stamping is a great way to add more then one color to your solid images and give it dimension.

I am using images from the Luck & Love Card Kit but any solid or silhouette image would work.

I found the easiest way to achieve this look is with mini blending brushes.

For my flowers, I used Wild Dandelion, Sweet Mango, Sea Glass and Tranquil Teal. I also had a pink one I created earlier off camera that I believe I used Dusty Rose and Passionate Pink inks.

The leaves were created using Key Lime and Fresh Asparagus.

I’m also sharing a technique that made it easy to line up my images perfectly!

For the background, I have the 3D Diamond Cover Plate die cut 3 ties and layered together.

This large Hello sentiment comes from the A Little Hello Layering Stencil Bundle.

I also added a smaller sentiment using the Sentiment Strips included in the Luck & Love Card Kit.

Dear Mindy – Thanks for the reminder about this technique. I was wondering how many techniques you know. It seems like you have an endless arsenal. Wow – you’re so learned in this arena. Impressive! Love the card and especially love the white/white background.
Hope you all are feeling better! It’s hard to be the caretaker even if you feel fine.
