I Love You (Calyptus) Flip Flop Magic Iris

Hi everyone and welcome back! Today I’m sharing how to create a night time scene with the Magic Iris Interactive Die.

VIDEO

I have a video showing you the step-by-step process that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’ll be using the I Love You (calyptus) and I Love You (calyptus) Flip Flop stamp sets for my card today to create my scene.

I have my koala’s hanging from some trees that I stamped and colored from the A Bug Deal stamp set.

I created the background using the Magic Iris Add On and ink blending Cracked Pistachio, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks onto Merman cardstock.

Being the end of the school year, I’m using this as a thank you card for one of the teachers. I stamped and die cut the thanks from the Thanks Thanks Thanks stamp set.

Here a copic color chart if you are interested in the colors that I used.

Dear Mindy and LF – This is not only cute, it’s also GORGEOUSLY ink-blended. I adore the colors you chose and think it was so impt that you left the top of the craft cardstock unblended so that it appeared highlighted. The colors you used for the tree and its leaves are perfect. I know this will sound stupid, but it’s almost like they glow from within — or like a cam crew showed up and we’re seeing them expertly lit. This is a fabulous card – lucky the person who receives it!
