Welcome everyone! I’m excited to be a part of the Hero Arts & Honey Bee Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop. We are sharing inspiration today using the new stamp set You Are Amazing! Hold on to your hats and maybe grab your sunglasses for this one.
I’ve been playing a lot with Distress Spray Stains and this is a background I created that I thought would be great for this stamp set.
Along my journey, I’ve learned that the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock works the best. It can really hold up to the amount of liquid I apply.
I heat embossed the image and sentiment from the set You Are Amazing in white embossing powder. I make sure to prep the panel really well with an anti-static powder tool so the embossing powder won’t catch everywhere.
There are so many encouraging sentiments on this set that it was hard to pick.
I made a DIY ink pads using baby wipes and Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors.
I stamped the heart image with my DIY ink pad onto white 110 lb cardstock.
Super cool right?!

Your background is the best so far. The white embossing is perfect
Love the rainbow water color
Beautiful cards, I’m intrigued by the baby wipe technique!
The rainbow background is stunning! Love how the white pops off of it!
This is so vibrant
Love your colorful cards. Will definitely be giving both techniques a try but first I have to find out how to make the baby wipe ink pads. Haven’t seen that technique used in years but after seeing your cards I definitely need to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! Here is a video I did previously using the DIY ink pad technique if interested. https://youtu.be/QnnWf9SnMco
Awesome background with the Distress stain spray and so colorful.
Beautiful cards! Love the colors.
Wow, love the spray for the background. It makes every card unique. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your cards are beautiful! I haven’t tried Distress Stains yet…I think I’ll need to get some of those 🙂 Very beautiful cards/colors!
Great job. Thank you for sharing your ideas and talent.
The embossed rainbow thank you card is awesome. Love the techniques you used.
Mindy!!! Oh my goodness! Absolutely AMAZING and to bring back an old technique by creating your own DIY ink pad! Ingenious! Perfect images and sentiments for that technique!! AWESOME!

Beautiful cards. I love how you used both the positive and negative of the stamped image. Thank you for sharing.
I love your technique! Thank you for inspiring me to try something new!
Love all your cards. I’m intrigued by the background you created with baby wipes and liquid watercolors. This stamp set is certainly versatile and could be used to top off many background techniques. It’s maybe perfect for that!
Those rainbow hues are just stunning. Love them all!
I love that you did a DYI stamp pad. Turned out great.
Beautiful colors. So it is: You rock!
Super cool, yes! I like how you reversed the rainbow to be the background, and then the fill. Both great, but very different feels.
Wow! The colorful heart with the clean and simple rest of the card sure makes it POP! Stands out beautifully! Will be needing to try this. thank you
Doing opposites is a cool idea. I really like the white heart.
Gorgeous cards! Love the colors. Awesome ink blending…
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely card and colors used. Great stamp set with many ideas ahead.
Love the idea of making two cards that are the inverse from one another. Smart!
Love the colors in the card
Love, love, love the backgrounds. I will have to try TH watercolour paper again. I’ve been using Arches cold press watercolour paper lately but it is hard to stamp a sentiment on it because it’s so textured. Thanks for sharing.
Very pretty cards. I especially love the one with the rainbow look on the entire card! Very nice! Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Love your color combos and technique on these beautiful cards! Great designs and sentiments in this awesome collab set!
I love that you kept the supplies minimal to show case the stamp!
Fun and happy rainbow design, the sentiments are so heartfelt in this set.
