CARD DETAILS
My card today may stand out at you but it’s really quite simple to create. I’m starting out with a piece of Cherry Red card stock from Gina K Designs. Using a comfort block, I randomly stamp my floral image from the Grateful Heart stamp set in Embossing Ink to create my own background. Then I heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.
Using blender brushes from Taylored Expressions, I ink blend Cherry Red Ink onto my card base. I start heavy around the edges and lighten up as I get towards the middle. I actually do not ink blend in the middle of the card. I wanted to leave a highlight area.
To really deepen the edges, I ink blend a little Chocolate Truffle. Check out that contrast!
To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Dream Big stamp in gold onto Pitch Black card stock. I also added a couple of the black enamel dots, also from this release.
