Sweet Friendship

Welcome everyone! Today I’m showing you two different ways to use the same stamp set. This is featuring the new stamp set Sweet Friendship from Gina K Designs.

For my first card, I started by ink blending Worn Lipstick at the bottom of the card and getting lighter as I worked my way up. Then, I stamped my image multiple times around my white card base using Almalgam Black Ink. Then I colored with copic markers. I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and trimmed down to a thin strip and adding a slant at the end. I also trimmed down a strip of gold glitter card stock the same way and layered behind the sentiment.

For an added touch, I added Crystalline Drops in between the images on my background.

For my next card, I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and attached one of the circle templates from the Mega Wreath Builder, using purple tape to secure it in place.

Next, I ink blended Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxide Ink in my circle. I removed the stencil and using the Misti, I stamped my image right over my ink blended circle using Black Versafine Claire Ink.

My sentiment is stamped at the bottom with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Champagne Embossing Powder.

This could easily be a one layer card but I decided to trim it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a white card base. You can see the difference in the color of card stock from the photo above which I think it’s actually really pretty.

Hope you enjoyed today’s added inspiration!
