STAMPtember has started! Simon Says Stamp

Welcome to STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp! This month is going to be….EPIC!
First, if you haven’t heard of STAMPtember, it’s a celebration all month long with Simon Says Stamp. There are going to be some amazing collaborations with various companies that you don’t want to miss! Be sure to join me on Sunday for a Blog Party! Not a blog hop – blog PARTY. You’ll want to start at the Simon Says Stamp blog and they will have a list of designers ready to inspire you. Each designer will have a special promotion that you can use when making your purchase.
Onto my card for today! I used the stunning Ornate Ornaments stamp set. I stamped the ornaments onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I ink blended Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Candied Apple, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides. Then fussy cut out my ornaments.
I created my background using Turquoise Sea cardstock from Gina K Designs and added the Diamond Circles Stencil from Simon Says Stamp with the Turquoise Sea ink. This was then die cut with the Wonky Rectangles die and added to a white A2 size cardbase.
The sentiment, also from the Ornate Ornaments stamp set, is heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and trimmed down to a thin strip. Before attaching my sentiment, I staggered my ornaments onto the background and used Silver Glitter cardstock with the Stitched Ornament Die from Lawn Fawn so my ornaments had a string to hang down. Then added my sentiments onto with foam squares.
Such a stunning stamp set and perfect to get started on your holiday cards!
Be sure to join me on Sunday for another project that you don’t want to miss out on!
