Cards Gina K Designs Stencils

Copic Coloring Grand Garden – Gina K Designs

How can you resist such a gorgeous stamp set!? I’m using multiple products from Gina K Designs to complete my card today.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the one and only Gina from Gina K Designs this past weekend and she is just as sweet in person as she is on camera. I had ordered and received this stamp set before leaving for my trip but didn’t get a chance to color it up until the other day. I decided on bold colors for this but I have many ideas to try in the future.
I stamped my beautiful bloom and some leaves from the Grand Garden stamp set on to Neenah white cardstock with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink. Once I colored with copic markers, I fussy cut each one.
Using a piece of white cardstock measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″, I stenciled on the beautiful Lovely Lace stencil with Moonlit Fog Ink. I used a very gentle touch as I didn’t want it to overpower my flower but wanted just a little something in the background. I also stamped this sentiment from the Grand Garden set using the Almalgam ink. It’s such a bold black ink that is great for copic coloring, watercoloring and colored pencils.
I layered my stenciled background onto some Black cardstock, added my colored images and trimmed off the overhang. My flower is actually popped up with foam tape for a little dimension. Then just attached this to a white A2 size notecard. A little finishing touch is adding some white jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. Gorgeous right?! I’m so in love with this floral image.
Copics Used
Leaves – YG99, YG67, YG17, YG25
Flower – R59, R46, R24
I also used BV29 to deepen my shadows but it’s a very dark color and needs to be used carefully so as not to take away from the vibrant red.
