Little Fireflies – Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #28

Welcome everyone! Today I wanted to share with a fun card that I created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #28 – Sketch. This is a really easy sketch to play along with and I had so many ideas for it. I settled on using the adorable Little Fireflies stamp set which I just recently got.
On a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock, I ink blended Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. From another piece of white cardstock, I die cut a circle fro the middle and a stitched frame around the edge. This panel measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ which I’ll add to a notecard later.
I stamped and colored a bunch of these little fireflies. I die cut them from the coordinating die which are so handy to have with these small images. I also die cut the little glow with some Champagne glitter cardstock from Simon Says Stamp.  I attached my fireflies to the middle of my panel making sure to tuck some around the edges.
I then attached this panel to an A2 size notecard using white craft foam for dimension. My sentiment is stamped from the Life is Good stamp set which I thought matched perfectly with my fireflies.
I am so happy with how this came out! I was very tempted to turn this into a shaker card but I kept it simple. I adore this stamp set because I used to live in the country growing up and we always went out at night to catch lightning bugs as we used to call them. So much fun! I miss those times. This is a small but mighty stamp set!
