Cards copic Simon Says Stamp Stencils The Ton

Peony Duo – The Ton Stamps

One company I hadn’t really played around with yet is The Ton. I fell in love with these peonies and so happy with how this card turned out!
Using the Peony Duo, I stamped these on Neenah white cardstock using copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. Then I fussy cut the peonies out. I originally had the leaves colored too but they didn’t end up matching my background so I left them out.
For my background, I’m using Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended the Diamond Circles stencil with Twisted Citron distress oxide ink. I removed the stencil, and lightly went back over the inked area to soften up the white areas. I trimmed this piece down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a white notecard base.
My sentiment is from the Kind Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp of which I heat embossed on black cardstock with silver embossing powder and cut down to a thin strip.
I added my peonies to the bottom corner of the card, popping up the blue one with foam tape. Then I tucked my sentiment slightly under the purple peony. A few finishing touches are the Clear Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh.
