Hey friends! Today I’m excited to share a project featuring the Elegant Rose Stencil—one of those designs that truly stopped me in my tracks. After finishing the ink blending and peeling back the stencil, I had a total “WOW” moment. The way this stencil layers together is incredibly unique and creates such stunning dimension with minimal effort. Let’s dive into how I brought this rose to life!

For my color palette, I reached for Trio 30 and Trio 14—a perfect combo to create that timeless, vibrant red rose. There’s just something about a classic red rose that feels so bold and beautiful, and these inks layered together effortlessly for that striking look.

I wanted this rose to really shine, so to help draw the eye, I die cut a frame using the new Squovals die. It has this fun mix of square and oval edges that gives the card a modern and playful twist.

I layered the frame over my ink-blended rose panel with some foam strips for dimension—it instantly created a beautiful focal point and made everything feel super polished.

To complete the card, I added a sentiment from the Mandala Blossoms set. It fit beautifully overlapping the frame and tied the whole design together with just the right message. Sometimes a simple sentiment is all you need to let your artwork shine!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this project sparked a little inspiration for your next cardmaking session. The Elegant Rose stencil is definitely one of those products that makes a big impact with minimal effort—especially when paired with bold, timeless colors like red. Whether you’re crafting for a special occasion or just for fun, don’t be afraid to let your stencils take center stage. Happy crafting, friends!
