Hey friends! I’m so thrilled to be joining Simon Says Stamp in their Just For You Release Blog Hop! We have lots of inspiration to share with you today and some prizes to giveaway.
My card is featuring the new Mushroom Stems Wafer Dies. I love the variation in height in them.
I die cut them from colored cardstock and added shading with my Olo Markers.
For my background, I went digging through my stash. I have a bunch of backgrounds I created with alcohol inks. Unfortunately, I do not know the exact colors that I used here but it looks pretty cool.
To add a little interest to the background, I applied White Hero Paste using my palette knife through the Tap Dance Stencil. This is one of my favorite stencils from Simon Says Stamp. An oldie but a goodie!
For the sentiment, I’m using the new So Sorry stamp and die set. I stamped the sentiment in Intense Black ink and cut out with the coordinating dies.
Then popped up the sentiment with foam squares.
