Multicolor Stamping with Distress Oxides: Simon Says Stamp Just For You Release

Hello friends! It’s time for the Simon Says Stamp Just For You release! I have lots to share with you in the future but for tonight I’m kicking it off with a beautiful background stamp and using my distress oxides to do some ink blending and stamping.

VIDEO

I have a video that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Introducing the lovely Leaf Edges stamp. This is kind of like a two-for-one stamp set. You are getting two edge stamps in one. You just simply peel them apart.

I started by ink blending a background using Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink.

I placed my panel into my Misti, lined up the image and stamping it in Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot. I love the intensity of the edges and how it fades off towards the other corner of the card.

I trimmed the panel down with an A2 Layers die from Waffle Flower and added it to an A2 size card panel.

The sentiment is the Sending Love Wafer Die which I die cut from Matte Gold cardstock and layered with white to add dimension.

The flicks of color you see in the background is using my Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolors.

Such a simple look but packs a lot of punch! I love this stamp set!
