Hello crafty friends and welcome back!
I am popping to share inspiration using the Happy Thanks set from Concord & 9th. These large sentiments are great for taking center stage on your cards.
My first card inspiration combines the “Oh Happy Day” with the Chevron Quilt Top dies.
I die cut the sentiment from Matte Gold cardstock and layered on top of the shadow layer cut from white.
For the background, I used a variety of colors from Concord & 9th including:
- Ballet Slippers
- Honeysuckle
- Buttercup
- Stardust
- Sea Glass
- Oceanside
- Peacock
For the next card, I created a window. This could easily be turned into a shaker card too.
I used the shadow layer to cut a window from the from of the card and added acetatae behind it. After popping up with foam tape, I used the Garden Party paper pack to decorate behind the window.
I added from flowers around the sentiment which came from the In The Meadow die set.
