Hello friends! Simon Says Stamp has a brand new release filled with amazing products! Plus…… new inks!!! Eek!!!! I cannot wait to get my hands on those.
I’m playing with a new stencil today but be sure to check out the whole release.
Today I’m playing with Glossy Acrylic Sprays and some stencils.
VIDEO
I caught this one in a video tutorial that you can view down below or HERE on Youtube.
I explain my process in detail over in my VIDEO so down below I will briefly go over my card and products used.
I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with sprays lately. Today I’m playing with Dina Wakley Glossy Acrylic Sprays. They are exactly that. It’s like acrylic paint in a bottle that you spray and leaves a beautiful glossy finish.
The thing with these sprays is they are water soluble when wet and permanent when dry. This means you cannot reactive them after they dry. If you are using stencils, I suggest cleaning them while the spray is still wet on the stencil.
I used heavyweight cardstock from ranger because I know it can handle the amount of spray I was going to be using.
These colors are very vibrant and I love the glossy feel of the background. I have the exact colors I used listed down below.
Simon Says Stamp kindly sent me the Confetti Stencil (NEW) to play with and I’ll be honest, up until I discovered the name of the stencil, I thought it was a Bokeh stencil. So that is the idea I went with.
This stencil is so versatile and a good staple to have in your stash. I have many ideas for this stencils that I hope to share with you soon.
This is card completed using the Swoopy Oh Crap die from Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design because let’s face it…. I never send out birthday cards in time lol .
Be sure to check out the VIDEO tutorial how fun this was to create and also the entire release from Simon. There’s a little something for everyone!
Here’s a little bonus card using the Off The Edge Daffodil Stencil (NEW) with Gloss Sprays. I had previously heat embossed the Friendship background in clear embossing powder.
This card also features the new Here For You word die (NEW) cut from Glossy Black cardstock (NEW)
Here’s a look at the new inks colors !
