MFT January 2020 Release

Welcome back everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. I’m so excited to be joining MFT & Friends showcasing the January 2020 Release! There are a lot of amazing products in this release and I hope my cards will inspire you!

New release supplies will be listed at the end of my blog.

First up we have this adorable die cut word. I combined Sweet As Pie Die-namics with the die from Sweetie Pie Stamp set. I die cut the first layer out of Sweet Stack Pattern paper and the shadow from White Glitter card stock.

This picture below gives you a great look at how I layered them up and I love that white glitter card stock. Not sure if they were designed to work together but I made it work!

I lined up where I wanted this sentiment to go and before attaching it, I stamped this sweet little bird from the Kissing Booth stamp set. I colored with copics and then stamped a sentiment in Black Ink.

I attached the die cut word to the front of my card with liquid glue. Those cute little hearts floating around are also from the Sweet As Pie Die-namics. I thought they looked so playful around the die cut word.

Next up, we have a wonderful rainbow card. I love these new sets that can take up a card front and the fonts are so fun! This is the You Have The Biggest Heart Stamp Set.

I masked off my edges and ink blended clouds using a rainbow assortment of Distress inks. Then I stamped the large sentiment in the middle using Black Ink. So clean and simple but yet so colorful!

Now we have a new Pure Innocence stamp set and this one is called Soft Place To Land. She is holding this nice fluffy pillow with a heart on the front. I stamped the image in Black ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out.

I also die cut the Love You Circle Frame from Passionate Pink card stock and attached to the front of the card. Before adhering my image to the front, I quickly stamped a sentiment using my Misti Tool. Then added my little darling girl to the front with foam squares.

You’ve been seeing a lot of white space on my cards but now you need to get your sunglasses out! This card is bright!

On a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock 80lb., I ink blended Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, and Barn Door Distress Oxide ink.

I took the Love Is In The Air Stencil (NEW!) and sprayed it with Pixie Spray. Then attached it over the ink blended panel. I applied Moonstone Glimmer Paste over it and while Moonstone looks white-ish in the jar, it totally took on the colors of the background. It almost looks gold which I thought was super cool!

I die cut the Love (Lots of Love) Die-names from Black card stock and attached over my panel once it had dried.

For a sentiment I used the stamp set Rainbow Greetings. I stamped it in clear in onto Black card stock, heat embossed in white embossing powder and trimmed down to a thin strip to add to my card front.

The new Lots of Hearts Cover Up die is so versatile and there are just tons of different backgrounds you could create for this. I used a background I created a while ago using Alcohol Pearl Inks on the Glitter Yupo card stock.

I die cut the Lots of Hearts Cover Up die from White glitter card stock and added to my rainbow background using liquid glue. Lots of sparkle going on on this card!

To keep the rest simple since my background is so busy, I added a sentiment from the Rainbow Greetings stamp set that I heat embossed in white onto Black card stock.

Last but not least is the Pizza Maker. This one is actually quite funny as my hubby used to deliver pizzas. That’s actually how we met. The Pizza Maker Die-namics has lots of different toppings you can add to your pizza. My favorite is Canadian Bacon so that is the pizza I made for my card. Well, actually my favorite is the Philly Steak Pizza but there wasn’t a die for that one lol.

For the background, I used the English Brick Wall Stencil. I ink blended it onto white card stock using Barn Door and Aged Mahoganey Distress Oxide ink.

Whew! That was a lot of fun! I hope my cards inspired you today. Thank you so much for joining me and a big Thank You to MFT for inviting me this month to play with their release. It’s always so much fun!
