My card today is featuring this totally adorable stamp set Egg Hunt. How darling are these little guys!? I used almost everything on the stamp set. I couldn’t pick just one image. I stamped my images onto Neenah White card stock with copic friendly ink. Then colored with copic markers and die cut out with the coordinating die.

For my colorful background, I started with a piece of white card stock cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and attached the Basic Shapes Circle stencil using post it tape. I masked off some of the circles and started to ink blend some Distress Oxides. By masking off some of the circles, I could ink blend different colors and sizes are my card. Post it tape is great because it doesn’t harm my paper when I remove it. This way, I could pick up my stencil, clean it off and move to another area of my card for a new color.

Colors used were Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks.

Next, I attached the Grassy Edges stencil to the bottom of the card and ink blended Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. This created such a fun scene!

Once I was happy with my background, I attached this panel to another piece of white card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added this panel to a card stock base made from Salt Water Taffy card stock.

I finished off my card by attaching all of my die cut images. Some I used a regular tape runner and others I popped up with foam tape. I didn’t want to disrupt my scene with another piece of card stock for the sentiment, so I stamped directly onto the front panel using my Misti tool and Versafine Black ink. One more little bit of added interest is the darling Gumdrops.

I’m totally loving how this scene came out! I hope you enjoyed it too! I had so much fun creating it! Thank you to Your Next Stamp for inviting me. It’s always a blast playing with their products.
