My card today is featuring this adorable little lamb from the So Ewenique stamp set. There are quite a few fun images and sentiments on this stamp set. I stamped my image in copic friendly ink onto Neenah white card stock and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I started creating my background by die cutting a heart from the right hand side of a piece of pattern paper. I attached the die cut heart to a piece of white card stock that was trimmed down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and let the heart appear cut off. I’ve always loved this look.
My white panel is attached to a card base I created from Sunflower card stock by using foam tape to give dimension. I thought this yellow card base would really pull out the yellow in the pattern paper. Next, I added my die cut image to the center of the heart using foam squares.
My sentiment, also from the So Ewenique stamp set, is stamped in Clear Ink onto Black card stock. Then heat embossed with White embossing powder and trimmed down to a thin strip by using the Sentiment Label die from my stash. I attached the sentiment to the front of the card with foam tape as well.
For a little added interest, I used some of the YNS Gumdrops which are self adhesive enamel dots in come in a variety of colors.
