Welcome back to Day 3 of the Neat & Tangled January release. I hope you are enjoying all of the inspiration we’ve been sharing with you. Today we are showcasing the Wonky Chevron die cutting plate.
This has such a unique design to it. I’ve always thought black was stunning for backgrounds and this was a perfect match! I die cut my Chevron Background from black glitter cardstock and added to a white A2 size card panel. I used the frame of the die cut piece to line up my chevron design and attached with liquid glue. There is more to the design of this die cut but it’s hard to see on the glitter paper.
For a center piece, I stamped images from the Magnolia stamp set onto Neenah Solar white 80 lb cardstock with copic friendly ink. Then colored with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die. I added my flowers to the front of my Chevron panel with foam tape for dimension.
The sentiment is from the Love You stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Cilantro cardstock and trimmed to a thin strip. I also added some foam tape behind the sentiment to match my floral center piece.
Think of the different color backgrounds you could do with the Wonky Chevron die cutting plate! My brain is spinning with ideas!
