AUGUST Krafty Peeks

at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are featuring the FIRST of two new sets from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen for our Fall and Halloween release!

This one is called…..GRATEFUL PUMPKINS!

This set of autumn images and sentiments is simply stunning! It contains several gorgeous solid pumpkin images, five lovely fall sentiments in a fabulous font and many little leaves and scrolly accessory stamps! These stamps go PERFECTLY with all three of our gorgeous new Hybrid Inks!!! You’ll have so much fun stamping them up with the Pumpkin Patch, Purple Petunia and Mossy Meadow inks!!

My card for today I kept simple and left the focus on the image. I started by stamping my pumpkin with Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin patch which are BRAND NEW inks from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I used my Misti tool to stamp my image and the reason being is so it would stay lined up in the same position. Once I had stamped my image in color, I stamped it again in Versamark Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I stenciled in some grass using the Grassy Edges Stencil and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide. I ink blended a soft sky with Shaded Lilac and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide. Keeping with the simple look and pretty much one layer, I stamped the sentiment in Wicked Black ink.
