During my LIVE Monday night, I had the chance to create with the brand-new Spellbinders August 2026 release, and things got spooky cute!

For these cards, I featured the adorable Pup Trio Die Sets, along with the delightfully spooky Sir Skeleton. I also pulled out my Glimmer Hot Foil System to add some shine to the backgrounds.

My first card features Sir Skeleton, which we started during the LIVE and I finished up off screen.

For this card, I created a foiled background, using the Spiderweb Background on black cardstock. The foiling adds such a fun detail and works perfectly with Sir Skeleton as the focal point.

I finished the card with a sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments Press Plate.

For my second card, I combined all three costumed pups into one fun Halloween scene. Two of these pups were previously released, and joining the lineup this month is the brand-new Buzzy Pup Bee. How cute is that little bee costume?!

For the background, I used the Winged Shadows Press Plate and foiled the design with Opal Foil onto black cardstock. I love the subtle shimmer the foil adds against the dark background—it gives the card a little extra Halloween magic without taking attention away from those adorable pups.
