I am working through the products I bought this year for the holiday season and the adorable Gnome Alone Santa from Taylored Expressions is one of them! How stinkin cute is this guy!?
Yes, I am one of those people obsessed with gnomes and I sat myself down and wouldn’t let myself walk away until I created with it.
I die cut the Gnome from Watermelon, Sugar Cube, Black, and Lime Zest cardstock.
I then went around some of the pieces with ink to create dimension. For the Santa Hat I blended with Cherry Pop and Mulled Wine; for the Beard, Mustache & Hat Brim I blended with Salt Water Taffy; the Nose cut from Sugar Cube cardstock and blended with Peaches & Cream and the gloves & toy bag with Peapod Ink. I was very excited to use my new mini blending brushes!
For the background, I used the Sneak A Peek Layering Stencil. I used the following colors:
I die cut the panel using the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and added to a card front created with Pink Champagne cardstock using foam strips.
My Santa and Toy are adhered together with liquid glue and added to the card front with foam tape as well.
Now for the sentiment, I used the All Together Occasions 3 stamp and die set but I think it was a free with purchase somewhere along the line because I don’t see it available right now. Sorry!
I finished off the card with some Silver Glitter Drops.
I absolutely love how this came out and so glad I was able to create with it!
