Welcome friends! I have inspiration to share using the new release from Simon Hurley and Spellbinders. It’s a wonderful Christmas collection!
My card today is a fun winter wonderland scene.
I started by heat embossing the Stippled Background onto white cardstock with Sterling embossing powder. I can see this background being used throughout the year and not just for Christmas.
Then I ink blended Powder Blue and In The Navy over the top of the embossed background.
I stamped out this beautiful scene from the Winter Wonderland set using Intense Black Ink and colored in with copic markers. I also stamped out some of the trees using Artichoke ink and cut out with the coordinating dies.
The sentiment is from the Retro Christmas stamp set. One of the reasons I picked this sentiment is because it had a coordinating die so I could pop it up under my scene.
