Waffle Flower Sneak Peek #3: Shaker Pouches

Hello friends! Today I’m participating in the Waffle Flower Link Party featuring Sneak Peek Club #3! If you are not familiar, Waffle Flower started a Sneak Peek Club where you can sign up HERE. This new subscription program allows you to get a selection of Waffle Flower products before they are released.

This month’s kit includes a sentiment stamp set, shaker pouches, coordinating die and stencil. I’m going to create 2 shakers on my card.

The shaker pouches coordinate with the die in the kit. I created a window from the front of my card panel using the coordinating.

I used this window as a guide to ink blend the coordinating stencil. You can make your butterfly two different colors or one main color like mine. I used Salvaged Patina Distress Ink for the base layer and then Wilted Violet Distress Ink for the detail layer of the wings.

I lined the edge of the shaker pouch with double sided tape and adhered the pouches to my window panel. Then sprinkled on some iridescent stars over my butterflies, added double sided tape to the back of my window panel and attached that over my butterflies.

These shaker pouches are really nice because it’s very little bulk and no foam tape needed!

I finished off with a sentiment from the set included in the kit. I’ve always been a fan of this mix of fonts from Waffle Flower. I stamped the sentiment in White pigment ink, heat embossed with White embossing powder and trimmed down to add to the front of my card.
