I’m featuring the Lovely Layer Pansy today. Color Inspiration could mean a couple things in this project.
It could mean inspiring you to try these colors AND/OR it could mean where I get my color inspiration. Today’s inspiration came from googling pansies.
I had found a picture of pansies with the center was a dark purple and the edges were this deep, bright pink. I hoping I achieved that look today.
For colors I used the following from Simon Says Stap:
I used a large blending brush for the leaves and mini blending brushes for the flower and edges.
I paired my flowers with a sentiment from the Bitty Buzzword set. I stamped it in Intense Black ink and cut out with the coordinating die.
I also heat embossing a smaller sentiment onto Black Licorice cardstock by stamping in white pigment ink and embossing with Alabaster embossing powder.
I used the Gold Glitter Enamel Stickers to add sparkle to my card.
My panel is then added to a card front created from Fog cardstock.
