Hello friends and welcome back! Today I’m having some fun with my gel press and shimmer powders. This is something I saw demonstrated at Creativation and wanted to give it a try. It might not be a “new” technique but it’s new to me.

I also have to preface that this card looks way better in person then in pictures. I don’t think my camera likes holographic cardstock and just throws everything off lol .

Since I walk through the card in detail in the video HERE, I will briefly go over the supplies ued.

The core of this technique is my gel press and Nuvo Shimmer Powders. I’m using Atlantis Burst and Meteorite Shower Shimmer Powders.

I layered together white cardstock cut using the Secret Garden die and then off set one layer cut from holographic cardstock.

One of the layers, I added a pierced detail by running it through with the Spring Leaves Pierced plate.

The sentiment comes from the Thinking of You Big Time stamp set which I absolutely love!

I also added a border around my frame by lining up a couple of the layers from the Sweet Stacks Rectangle set and die cutting from white cardstock.

Gosh I wish you could see this person. It’s so much better.

I really combined a few techniques in this card so hopefully one of them inspired you!
