Hello friends! It’s time to countdown to the next My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. One of my favorite things is in this kit….. layering stencil! Yay!

This background stamp and stencil creates the most beautiful design of flowers.

For my card today, I stamped the background in Intensified Black ink onto white cardstock. Be sure to let the ink completely dry. You can do speed up the drying process by either running your panel through a laminator, use a heat tool or add clear embossing powder over it and heat set.

Once you know the panel is dry, I added the layering stencil and ink blended on the following reactive inks: Taffy, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Blue Hawaii and Grape Slush using my blending brush.

The bees don’t get colored with the stencil, so I just used a copic marker.

After blending the colors, I trimmed the panel down and added to a white card front. I also trimmed out a couple very thin pieces of gold glitter cardstock and added to the top and bottom of my blended piece.

Check out this fabulous new die cut word that’s also included in the kit! A beautiful scripty font!

I die cut it multiple times from black cardstock and layered together with liquid glue.

Also in the kit is a mini stamp set with small sentiments that go with our die cut word.

I finished off the card by adding white gel pen details to the centers of the flowers.

Fabulous right!?
