Welcome everyone! There was some super fast shipping going on and I received my Pinkfresh Studio order from their latest release. I immediately sat down to play with the Beautiful Blooms set. I love how playful and simplistic these are.
I’m also going outside of my comfort zone a little today with the Arch Backdrop Hot Foil Plate. It’s not normally something I would gravitate towards but I wanted to try new things this year. I tried foiling the left over foil with my solid hot foil plate but I discovered I need an extra cardstock shim with it as it didn’t foil the center very well.
Lessons learned.
My panel with the arch background is trimmed to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a white cardbase. Then I added my die cut flowers to the front with foam tape.
I paired this with the new Fancy Script word die set. Such a beautiful and elegant font.
I die cut the sentiment multiple times from heavy cardstock to layer up for dimesion.
Then finished the card off with a few colored jewels and a few highlights with my gel pen.
