VIDEO: Spooky Eyes Halloween Card

Welcome back everyone! I’m so excited to a part of the Simon Says Stamp Blog Party celebrating STAMPtember! It’s such a fun time of the year – like Christmas every day for crafters.

You are going to find tons of inspiration today from the STAMPtember release so be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp blog for links to fellow crafters.

Today I’m focusing on the Spooky Eyes background. I seriously squealed when I saw this stamp! I know now everyone is into Halloween but it is my favorite time of year!

I have a video showing my card process that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

There are many different ways I could have used this stamp set but I went for a traditional look by stamping the background in Black Versafine Ink onto Green Apple cardstock.

I trimmed the panel out with the Waffle Flower A2 Layering Die, layered the back with foam tape and added to a black cardstock base.

I thought it would be really cool to have a little speech bubble coming out so I dug through my Lawn Fawn collection and used a speech bubble from the Say What Christmas Critters set.

The fun little sentiment stamped inside is from another new STAMPtember stamp set and that is Too Cute To Spook.

To finish off the card, I die cut the Spooky word from purple glitter cardstock because purple and lime green scream Halloween to me.

Gosh I love how this card came out! I hope you do too!
