Welcome everyone! Today is Day 3 of the Countdown to the new Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit! Remember, Monday is Labor Day so that means the kit will be available for purchase on Tuesday, September 8.
Talk about the perfect kit for me to kick off my first month as a creative team member for Hero Arts. Fall/Halloween is my jam and can’t wait to share more with you on release day!
For today, I’ll ween you into it haha!
We have an amazing layering stamp set in the kit. There are so many different color combinations you can do with this to give your scene a whole different look.
I thought today I share a more traditional look and save the scary/spooky stuff for later (wink wink!) .
Heading out to corn mazes and pumpkin patches are a tradition around here. The new Heroscape in the kit reminds me a lot of my area actually. Miles and miles of corn fields! Another fun thing is these fields can be stamped in greens or yellows, depending what time of the year you want it to reflect.
For stamping the pumpkin patch I used Key Lime Fizz, Green Apple, Creamsicle and Fruit Punch Reactive Inks. For the cornfield, I used Butter Bar and Pumpkin Pie inks.
While the clouds are not necessary, I couldn’t resist adding them to my scene using the Cloudy Sky die.
