VIDEO

I have a video for you that you can either view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel. I am going to show you how I created TWO cards from ONE background stamp. This is such a great way to get more bang for your buck!

My cards are featuring the new Pool Party Background stamp.

For the first card, I used the background stamp in a more traditional way. It is stamped in embossing ink onto White cardstock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.

Then I ink blend Blue Raspberry, Pool Party and Lemon Drop Reactive Ink over the top with a foam blending tool.

After attaching to a card base, I colored all the images with a Glitter Gloss pen. Not only does this add sparkle to my card but because I used reactive inks, the images will lighten a bit, making them pop a little from the background.

I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Shine Bright stamp set and cut out with a circle die I found on the Cloudy Sky Die.

What makes this background stamp pretty unique is it has a lot of small images on it. I stamped another white panel but this time in Intensified Black ink and choose one fo the images to color with copic markers. Then I fussy cut out that image.

I created a card front by masking a circle and ink blending Pool Party, Blue Raspberry and Blue Hawaii Reactive inks. I added a palm tree from the Palm Tree stamp set by stamping in Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple Reactive Inks and also Soft Brown and Cup O Joe.

Any one of the images from the background stamp would have looked great here and how relaxing does this look? I would love to be floating under a palm tree.

Next I have a super adorable card to share! Hero has just released an Infinity set of Onesie dies! The minute I saw this set I knew the exact stamp set I was going to use. The Cute Animals stamp set!

I copic colored this little bear with a paintbrush and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

The onesie is die cut from White cardstock and then I drew on a rainbow with my copic markers. How cute is this that it looks like my bear is drawing a rainbow?!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
