Pinkfresh Studio April 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

Welcome everyone! I’m so excited to be joining Pinkfresh Studio in their release blog hop this month! I’ll be featuring just a few of the amazing products that are being released but will have the full release listed down below as well as the blog hop info!

I’m going to start you off with this beautiful Keep Going stamp set. It not only includes this floral image but also an adorable rainbow that I’ll have to use at a later date.

I stamped my image in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. The colors used are RV69, RV29, RV14, RV13, RV10, G29, G05, YG06 and YG00. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and set off on the side to work on the background.

I lightly ink blended Dried Marigold in the center of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I started out darker in the center and let it fade out as I got towards the edge of the card. Then I flicked on some metallic watercolor for interest.

Now when I die cut out the image there was a little piece in the middle that was white which kind of stuck out against the background. So I used a YR21 copic marker to fill in the white spaces and also around the edges of my die cut. This makes it look like one single piece instead of a die cut.

I finished off by stamping the Keep Going sentiment onto Black cardstock and heat embossing in White. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out and add to the front of my card.

Moving onto this fantastic sentiment set. I love big greetings that take up an entire card front. This is the Hugs and Good Vibes stamp set.

I first ink blended Picked Raspberry and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock. Then flicked with water and dabbed with a paper towel.

After the panel was completed dry, I prepped with an anti-static powder tool, stamped the sentiment in clear ink and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.

I finished it off by adding Perfect Pearls to the background for a little sparkle.

My last card is a two-fer. Meaning I combined two new items into one card. Striped backgrounds seem to be all the rage. I myself have created several. First to note, I’m lazy. I hate cutting strips of cardstock manually lol. Most cases, I cut it crooked. Pinkfresh Studio has released a few new panel dies to make it all super simple for me!

This card features the Color Block Diagonal Stripes. I die cut it from several different colors of cardstock that I have in my stash. I then lined a piece of cardstock with Scrapbook Adhesives Double Sided Adhesive Sheets. After removing the backer, I could just stick my cardstock stripes down. No fussing with glue!

I then added the Floral Circles to the front of my card using liquid glue. I had contemplated die cutting them from Gold Mirror cardstock but I really loved this bright white and how it pops off the background.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and will check out the full release. I know I have some shopping to do!
